You decided to make your life easier and puchased Prosody Backstage for your studio. You uploaded your classes and students and are ready to roll out the porgram to your staff and parents. Congrats! Use these step by step instructions to get everyone onboarded easily.
Send out an email to your staff instructing them to download the Prosody Backstage app (black icon) from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. In the email, provide them with your unique company code you were given when you set up your initial account. If you have forgotten this code, please contact us and we will send you your code.
Once your staff downloads the Prosody Backstage app they will need to create an account using the unique company code. Once they have created their account they will see a "waiting to be admitted" page.
You will then need to go to your admitting page via the admin page. The admitting icon is located on the bottom of the screen and looks like a shield with a check mark inside.
Their name will appear on the admitting screen. You will click on the name to approve and admit. If you see a name that you do not wish to admit, you may block by selecting the red block circle.
Once you select their name to admit you will be sent to a screen to select their visability. Options for staff include, Primary Admin, Admin, or Staff. You may select more than one and change as needed.
Once you select the type of user you will have the option to attach a dancer/student or not. If the staff memeber does not have any children that dance at your studio select no, and the admitting process is complete. If the staff member does have children that attend your studio select yes, then select their dancers/students.
Once this is completed, that staff member has been admitted and they may login to their account and begin using Prosody Backstage.
After your staff have been admitted, you will start the process again for parents and dancers. Again, send out an email to parents introducing Prosody Backstage and including the studio code. Parents and dancers will need to download the Prosody Backstage Portal app (green icon) from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
Parents and dancers will then create an account using the studio code. Once this is complete they will see a waiting to be admitted screen.
You will then admit them just like you did you staff, however, instead of selecting staff or admin you will select client or performer. (Parents = Client, Dancer = Performer)
Once you have selected their user availablity, you will need to attach the performer by selecting yes and toggling the name of the dancer(s).
Once they have been admitted they can login on their Prosody Backstage Portal app and begin using the app.

Your staff and parents have been admitted! As the season progresses you can admit and manage users as needed. Please let us know if you have any questions or if you don't see a user on your admitting page that should be. If there was an error in the account set up we will need to assist.
