The audience only sees a small percentage of the work happening one show night. Most of the work happens behind the stage. A smooth recital or performance is only possible with an amazing stage crew. In the dance studio world that usually means amazing staff and volunteers. I know my recitals are only possible because I have great volunteers. When developing Prosody Backstage I knew we needed a way for volunteers to access all the informaiton they need and have the ability to communicate with them easily. Our newest update has made selecting and communicating with those volunteers even easier. Now, instead of assigning parents as volunteers through admitting, you can assign volunteers during the event set up process. This makes it possible for each event to have its own unique set of volunteers. Having all the needed information for each volunteer and backstage crew easily accessable is a game changer. The group event chat and easy communication is pretty great too. Great backstage crew = great show!
