Raise your hand if you have ever been to a dance teacher convention! I had the privilege of attending Rhee Gold's Dance Life Convention years ago and it was an amazing experience. Sometimes I get caught up in everything I have to do. Things get busy. It was amazing to stop and take a class for myself. I loved learning valuable things I could take to my students. The best part was the unity I felt. Dance teachers and studio owners from all over shared their struggles and joys. I felt one with those around me even though I didn't know their names or their story. We all had one thing in common. We loved dance and understood the importance of passing on that love to our students.
This summer Prosody is attending two conventions as vendors. Dance Teacher Web Conference and Rhee Gold's Dance Life Convention. I am so excited! If you need to be rejuvenated and join others who love to teach dance like you, I highly recommend attending. Even if you can't attend in Las Vegas there are virtual options. These conventions are amazing!
