So your recital is around the corner. Here is my last minute recital checklist! (In no particular order)
Programs: whether you are doing printed programs or digital ones, make sure they are ready.
Props: Collect all of your props and assign them to stage right or stage left. Arrange transport if needed.
Double and triple check your master tech sheet. Make sure you have planned for everything!
Double and triple check your quick changes and set/prop changes.
Have a meeting with your staff and volunteers running through the show and giving specific assignments.
Prep the dressing rooms. Have your volunteers and dancers assigned to dressing rooms. Make sure entertainment for waiting dancers is arranged.
Organize check in and check out.
Double and triple check your music and playlist.
Pack an emergency kit!
Check you ticket distributor and make sure you have volunteers at the front.
Decide how you will need to strike the stage.
Breathe and have fun!
